Lionel Richie and the original producer of We are the World (written by Michael Jackson and Lionel Richie in 1985), Quincy Jones, gathered musical legends and the newest stars at the same studio used for the 1985 recording session, bringing their voices together to raise millions of dollars for Haitian earthquake relief. This updated version of "We are the World" is available for download, with proceeds going to the We are the World Foundation, which will make grants to selected charitable organizations that are responding to the continuing crisis in Haiti.
