Lenny Kravitz confirmed working with MJ on the new song 'Another Day' leaked

A previously unreleased clip of Michael Jackson song
Another Day appeared online early of the new year 2010. It is the second song to emerge from the King of Pop since his death. A track entitled This Is It, was released as a single in October 2009
ahead of the cinema release of the documentary of the same name.
Lenny Kravitz has confirmed that a song leaked online is a collaboration between himself and Michael Jackson.
The rocker issued a video statement
confirming that he collaborated on "Another Day" with Jackson,
including writing the tune and and playing all the instruments. But he
denied being the one who leaked the unfinished excerpt, noting his
recording had been locked away in a vault.
"I'd like to see this thing get straightened out as soon as
possible, because I'd like for you, the fans—the people who loved
Michael—to be able to hear the track in its entirety, the way it was
meant to be, the way Michael and I had intended it to be."
Only
90 seconds of the tune is currently available, and features Jackson
singing: "My life has taken me beyond the planets and the stars/ And
you're the only one that could take me this far/ I'll be forever
searching for your love."
It is reported the song was recorded as a duet with Lenny Kravitz, and according to Rolling Stone, Another Day shares some similarities with an old song of Kravitz's, Storm, off his 2004 record Baptism.
Kravitz doesn't sing on the leaked clip, but shortly after Jackson's death, the rocker wrote a letter to Spinner, talking about his time working with the late King of Pop.
"I
got to work with Michael on a track that has not been released, and it
was the most amazing experience I've had in the studio," Kravitz told Spinner.
"He was funny; very funny and we laughed the whole time. I also saw
what a beautiful father he was. He was a beautiful human being."
For his part, Lenny Kravitz posted a video on his Facebook page saying he didn't leak the song and he has no idea how it got out there.
He says the song is not mixed and not a final version.
